Go Johnny, go, go.

"Every year on the 30th of April Sweden is set ablaze in revelry of the emerging spring. The celebration known as Valborg causes communities throughout Sweden to unite in spirit and gather around massive bonfires, singing songs to welcome spring to these northern shores. It’s a celebration for people of all ages and the best part is – it’s free. Just show up and get ready to interact more with Swedes than you have through the entire winter."

That is one way to put it. My Valborg was something else. Jive dancing, beer drinking and the cruising. Old cars. Oh the beauty of some of them. A tradition of my hometown is to cruise the town this night and later for them who dares, there's a little shakin' in a little village nearby.
Here is some pictures of yesterday. Anyway, my 30th April 2013 was beyond awesome and this is officially the day that will start off an awesome summer.

Me posing somewhat not so elegantly beside my friend's father's Oldsmobile. Such a pearl.

Hello, ladies!

Oh, my...

MORE BEAUTIFUL!

So long sailors,
Louise
