Some cultural differences

  • Kissing of the cheeks when you meet a new person. Either you get a real kiss on your cheek or just a swift sound in your ear. In Sweden you greet another person with a nod or maybe a handshake at the first encounter. Depending on the situation you might hug each other but that's more common within family.
  • Walking indoors with your shoes. It´s rather obvious why los españoles walk with their shoes indoors. The floors are ice cold but other than that I don't really know. I think it's a habit that have lived on.
  • Stores closes at 14.00, opens again at 17.00. During the hottest hours of the day the los españoles retire back to their houses to eat lunch.
  • There's no filmjölk anywhere to find!
I´ll probably write more on the difference matter soon so keep yourself updated!

Adíos,
Louise
